A large audience gathered for our Victorian Evening.

None had opted for Victorian dress but rather for seasonably warm modern clothing

Harvey Nightingale sings ‘Seated one day at the organ...’ as he begins Sir Arthur Sullivan’s 'The Lost Chord', accompanied by organist Tom Keogh

LMS President Neil Crutchley read us an extract from Kilvert's Diary on a bright but chilly Christmas Day in 1870

Richard Gill told us an MR James ghost story and, later, retailed the happy Christmas dinner scene from Dickens' A Christmas Carol
