PRIVACY NOTICE
Leicester Music Society, with the written consent of its members, keeps members’ contact details, including name, address, e-mail address and telephone numbers, for the purpose of informing them about meetings and other activities of the Society.
All annually subscribing members will be asked to complete a consent form to enable us to keep their contact details for as long as the member wishes to be involved with the Society. Temporary members attending individual meetings will similarly be asked to consent to their details being kept.
If a member resigns, or has not attended a meeting for a period of one year after the expiry of their membership, we will remove his or her details from the Society’s records, unless the member requests that they be retained.
The contact details of members are kept on a computer or external storage device in files which are password-protected, the passwords being known only to the officers of the Society.
All members have the right to have their details removed at their request, preferably in writing or by email to the Secretary or another member of the Committee. Upon receipt of such a request we will remove the contact details in question from our records.
We do not share members' data with any third parties.
Records will be reviewed annually to ensure that they are in accordance with this statement.
Under the terms of the General Data Protection Regulation, Leicester Music Society acts as both Data Controller and Data Processor of its members' data.
